Casework is not my specialty, although I will sometimes refinish wood grain pianos I am rebuilding, in satin polyurethane chiefly I refer my refinishing work to Chulo’s Piano Refinishing [914 378 1438] where they do excellent work, particularly the hand-rubbed ebony satin laquer used on Steinways.  Nowadays it’s possible to obtain a decal for virtually any piano for that “authentic” look.
