Gorgeous refinished Steinway console from the 1940's
This
little piano has new keys and reconditioned and regulated action. It has
a nice sound for a small piano and is a terrific steppingstone to a more
serious Steinway. Bench included. $2700

Gorgeous Baldwin "G" Grand
Made in 1931, this 5'6" grand has been completely redone . The
soundboard has been restored to its original crown, and the pinblock and
strings replaced.
The action has been rebuilt with Renner Blue hammers [Hamburg
Steinway] which give the piano great depth and power, and the original
ivory keyboard has been repaired and polished.
The sound is magnificent, and the action meticulously regulated. It's
a prime example of the piano that made Baldwin famous from the 20's
through the 50's. The case , which is burl walnut, has been immaculately
refinished in satin closed-pore lacquer with a matching bench. $10,000

Sohmer "Cupid" 5'5" Grand
Sohmer is the other famous New York make. This "Cupid " 5'5" grand from the early 1930's is in great shape , and has a terrific sound and quick , light action. Sort of a poor man's Steinway "M" . Suitable for a real pianist. The case has just been redone. $3500

Baldwin Hamilton Professional Upright
This is the classic school and studio piano, 45" tall, it's set up to be moved easily. Made in the early 1960's , it's in terrific condition,and has a good action and a surprisingly powerful , rich, tone. The case has just been refinished , and the keys are brand new. $1995

Knabe Console
This piano was made around 1960, and is distinguished by it's handsome deco style brown mahogany case. Knabe was the piano of the Metropolitan Opera from 1926 to 1982, and is truly a quality instrument. This one has been reconditioned , and is a perfect piano for a beginner. $1350
